Who will defend Europe?

There is no waiting for scenario X, Y or Z, whether that be a peace settlement for Hashtag#Ukraine, a Moscow attack on Hashtag#Europe or NATO being drawn into war. The only things we can and must do are to help Ukraine win this war and strengthen our own defence and deterrence capabilities. This is a duty that will last for decades, not months. – This is my take-home message from my conversation with Keir Giles, which is worth bearing in mind these days when a ‚peace‘ plan, or rather a plan for Ukraine’s defeat, is being discussed.
